Founded in 1983, Steve's accounting firm was among the first to become authorized to sell and support what is now MAS90/MAS200 software. A CPA and Quickbooks ProAdvisor, he is an authorized reseller/partner for Acronis, Broadcom, Citrix, DELL, HP, Intuit, Microsoft, QuickBooks, Symantec, Trend Micro, WatchGuard and other technology products.

Whether general consulting, planning and design, application-specific training, or technical support, Steve has built his reputation on four core objectives:

  • listen
  • respond
  • provide value
  • empower the client

A lifelong resident of Cary, North Carolina, Steve was raised in his parents' grocery business. One of their primary business tenets was to respect the customer. They taught Steve to value the customer's choice of his business over the competition's. His family's customer appreciation and support of the community helped form several concepts Steve embraces today: do the right thing, give back to the community, and leave everything in better condition than that in which it was found.

Steve's integrity is conveyed through his service to his clients as he strives to deliver the best solution on every client engagement. One of his objectives on every engagement is to transform hardware and software into productive tools that contribute to the client's business – he adds value. He has accumulated a diverse skill set from years of IT trouble-shooting, project management, meeting facilitation, and event management. He frequently depends on these experiences to address the needs of a given situation – whether for client or community. Steve demonstrates his belief in community service through his church, Rotary International, Meals on Wheels, the Salvation Army, other civic organizations and professional associations.

Steve regularly participates in the management of several local and regional training seminars. His seminar evaluations consistently rank him among the best presenters. He has been recognized with three Outstanding Seminar Discussion Leader Awards by the North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants (NCACPA) based on knowledge and presentation skills.
